Gamesites preview Sims 3: Late Night

A few gaming sites went down to EA’s studios in Redwood Shores, CA to get some exclusive hands-on time with The Sims 3: Late Night. Here’s what they had to say about the upcoming expansion pack:

Gamespot – The Sims 3 Late Night Expansion Pack Impressions

If you’re tired of having your sims live the quiet life in suburbia surrounded by a white picket fence and nosy neighbors, then pack your bags and head to the bustling city of Bridgeport, the city that sleeps only in the wee hours of the morning. In The Sims 3′s latest expansion pack, Late Night, your sim can stay up all night long and party until the sun rises. New locations, furniture, objects, and wishes are just some of the things that have been added, and we got our first look when we went down to EA in Redwood Shores.

Gamepro – The Sims 3: Late Night preview

As expansions go, The Sims series rarely skimps on content and new features. Late Night certainly delivers on the former, but the latter is questionable (depending on how well you know your previous Sims expansions). But, hey, who doesn’t like vampires?

GamesRadar – The Sims 3: Late Night, Good clean debauchery

The Sims franchise has always taken place in an idealized world, with your Sims enjoying huge houses with nice yards in a relaxed neighborhood with a small town feel. But it’s always been limited to the suburban ideal – what about those of us who want to vicariously live the big city fantasy? Enter the Late Night expansion for Sims 3, where you can design a penthouse in the sky with a hot tub on the roof, the perfect spot for skinny dipping with vampires…
